Howden Maintenance Partners’ goal is to provide the best possible solutions on rotating equipment to its customers in all branches of the industry at optimum cost. The Rotating and Turbomachinery business units are dedicated to specific industries and activities and are ready to meet any challenge. This allows each business unit to specialize and to provide the best solutions to its customers.

History
Maintenance Partners was established in 2001 after a management buy-out from the ABB Service group.
Acquisition by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries
In April 2009, Maintenance Partners was acquired by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and became part of the MHI Group. As of February 1 2014, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd and Hitachi Ltd joined forces in thermal power generation systems. To do so, the new company Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems (or MH Power Systems) was established. MHPS focusses on all power generating industry related activities.
Second Management Buy Out
In November 2015, Maintenance Partners’ Belgian management acquired Maintenance Partners for 100% through a management buy out procedure.
In 2016, Maintenance Partners France was established to develop the French turbomachinery market.
On April 30 2021, Maintenance Partners was fully acquired by Howden.
